Lumby

With its small-town congeniality, Lumby is one of British Columbia’s undiscovered treasures. Known as the Hiking Capital of Canada, the region has more than 100 trails that meander through the interior rainforest of the Monashee Mountains.

Explore waterfalls, stroll the historical mural walk or follow the Salmon Trail through the unceded lands of the Interior Salish people. The adventurous might take advantage of the terrain’s ideal thermal conditions and go hang gliding or paragliding; or you could just attend one of the many national or international events that are held nearby.
