Keremeos is proud to call itself an ‘orchard village.’ Sitting at the edge of Canada’s Sonoran desert in the Similkameen Valley, Keremeos is also the western gateway to the regions vineyards and wineries. The lush orchards are set against a backdrop of steep, rocky, mountains and share the landscape with cattle farmlands. The region is also a haven for hundreds of plant and animal species that are unique to the area. Keremeos is also home to one of the few remaining working Grist Mills in North America.
