Oliver

Located on the unceded lands of the Syilx Nation Oliver is governed by the Town of Oliver, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, and the Osoyoos Indian Band.

With over 2000 hours of annual sunshine, the area boasts over 400 farms and 102 vineyards and was titled “Wine Capital of Canada” by Tourism British Columbia. Sitting on the northernmost point of the Great Basin Desert, Oliver’s diverse landscape includes wetlands, grasslands, forests and mountain meadows that provide critical habitat to many of the regions endangered plant and animal species.

There is a vintage vibe and eclectic sampling of restaurants in town with nearby Tuc-el-nuit Lake offering a variety of non-motorized water sports such as fishing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, and canoeing.
